When Will I Receive My Order?
Rush delivery is up to 2 weeks after we receive your order. Rush shipping is via UPS 2nd Day Air and is only available to a single street address (no PO Boxes) within the contiguous U.S.
Standard international delivery is via FedEx and is only available to street addresses (no PO Boxes). Standard international delivery is up to 3.5 weeks after we receive your order. At this time, we do not offer rush shipping outside of the United States.

Are You Looking For A Particular Card Or Item?
If you know the product item number (e.g., AVG500531, BDT400505, MAG67421, etc.), you can search for a particular item by using the search box at the top of the screen. You can search the full item number (MAG67421) or numbers only (67421).
If you are looking for a specific type of card, first click on the Greeting Cards tab near the top of the page. You will then be directed to a page that enables you to navigate to the entire card selection by occasion. You will also see specific search options down the left-hand side of your screen, whereby you can click on specific search criteria such as card occasion, price range, theme, artist, etc.
To search for a specific gift item, first click on the Gifts tab near the top of the page. You will then be directed to a page that enables you to navigate our entire gift selection by product category. You will also see specific search options down the left-hand side of your screen, whereby you can click on specific search criteria such as product type, price range, artist and other selections.
If you are still unable to find the card or item you are looking for, please call us at 1-800-525-0656 with the item number, artist name, and title or description of the artwork shown on the item.
What Does "Create New Account" Mean, And Why Do I Need One?
Creating a new FREE Account with us enables you to shop and place orders more easily. You will be able to create and use your own Address Book as well as use our handy Reminder Management service to remind you of upcoming occasions you don't want to forget (birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, holidays, etc.).
How to Create a New Account:
- Click on "Sign in" next to the icon of a person in the upper right corner of the webpage.
- It will take you to a login screen. Click on "Create account" next to the "Login" button.
- Enter your first name, last name, email and choose a password.
- Check the box if you would like to receive emails about special offers that can include discounts on online orders.
- Click "Create".
- Your account will be created and you will be logged in.
Access your account by clicking on the "Person" icon, then click on "Account". Click on the edit buttons to enter details to make your shopping experience easier (Shipping Address, Billing Address, etc.)
I Forgot My Username Or Password, What Do I Do?
We all forget things from time to time, and we've made it easy for you to retrieve your username or password.
1) One way is to click on or copy/paste the following link into your browser: leanintree.com/account/login
2) Or, another option is to simply click on "Login to your account" in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. From there, you can then click on "Forgot your username or password?"
Either way you choose (#1 or #2 above), a screen will appear that prompts you to enter your e-mail address in the box shown. Click submit. An e-mail will then be sent to the e-mail address you provided with instructions to reset your password. (IF you do not receive a message from info@leanintree.comwithin 30 minutes, please add info@leanintree.comto your safe list.)
The message you receive from info@leanintree.com will contain your username, and will provide a clickable link whereby you can change your password. After clicking the link (or if you prefer, you can copy/paste the provided web address into your browser), a screen will appear with boxes where you will enter a new password, confirm the password, then click Save. Lastly, you will see a message that your password has been successfully changed.
How Do I Access My Address Book?
Once you have created an account (see above "What does "Create new account" mean, and why do I need one?") and have signed in to your personal account using your password, you can use the Address Book function to store mail and e-mail addresses of friends and family members.
Simply log on to "My Account," and click on Address Book and begin creating new addresses. After you have saved an address, it can be edited or deleted later using the buttons to the right of each entry. Save as many as you like!
How Do I Change My Marketing Preferences?
Your e-mail address is safe with us! We respect your privacy and will not rent or sell your e-mail address. You can change how you want to be contacted by us at any time.
Once you have created an account (see above "What does "Create new account" mean and why do I need one?") and have signed in to your personal account using your password, simply click on Marketing Preferences. There you can indicate whether you would like to receive e-mail offers from Leanin' Tree or from other specially selected companies. The choice is always yours!
How Do I Change My Password?
- Click on “Sign in” next to the icon of a person in the upper right corner of the webpage.
- It will take you to a Login screen. Click the “Forgot your password?” link below the “Sign in” button.
- Enter your account email address in the field that appears and click “Submit”.
- You will be redirected back to the login screen. Check your inbox for the password reset email from info@leanintree.com.
- In the body of the email, click the “Reset your password” button OR paste the provided link into your web browser.
- You will be brought to a screen where you will be asked to create a new password. Fill in the fields and click “Reset Password”.
- You’re done! You should be logged in and taken to your account page.

Using The Shopping Cart
Shopping at Leanin' Tree is easy! You add items to your cart in two simple steps:
1) Click on the small picture of the item you're interested in, or click "view details", to view a larger image and additional information.
2) While viewing the large picture of the item, type in the number of items you want by clicking on the "Quantity" box, type the quantity you desire, and click the "Add to Cart" button.
A page will display confirming that you have added the item and provide you with several links to continue shopping. It's that easy!
You can view the contents of your cart by going to the Shopping Cart page. You can always get to the Shopping Cart page by clicking the "View Cart" button in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
To change the quantity of items already in your shopping cart, or to delete an item from your shopping cart, just follow the directions on the Shopping Cart page. Be sure to click the Update Order button after making your changes.
Product Availability
All items shown on our Web Site should currently be available. However, our Web Site is not connected to our inventory and updates occur overnight. Sometimes items that appear to be available when an order is placed will not be available when we start to process that order. In most cases, we will attempt to contact the customer if we have contact information.
Will I Receive An Order Confirmation?
Yes, you will! After you submit your order, you will see an order confirmation screen thanking you for your order. Once you receive this message screen, please be assured we have received your order.
If you would like to keep a record of your order, please use your browser's print function to print your order confirmation.
(NOTE: If you provide your e-mail address with your order we will send you two e-mails regarding the status of your order. The first e-mail message is an immediate receipt of your order; the second e-mail is sent to notify you of when your order has shipped/mailed.)
Can I Place My Internet Order Over The Phone?
You bet! However, free shipping is only for qualifying online orders of $50 or more. Just call 1-800-525-0656. Print out your Shopping Cart page or have your list of item numbers and your credit card handy. We look forward to your call!
Do You Collect Sales Tax?
We are required to collect 2.9% sales tax for Colorado residents, and 5% sales tax for Wisconsin residents. We will automatically calculate sales tax on your order screen if applicable.
What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept American Express, Mastercard and Visa credit cards AND debit cards.
Our website also accepts Shopify Shop Pay and Google GPay. Google Pay accepts Discover Card when you register a Google Pay account.
We also accept checks and money orders (make payable to LeaninTree.com). Canadian and International checks and money orders must be in U.S. Dollars. You can print your online shopping cart and mail that to us with a check or money order as long as you add the correct shipping and handling to your order. (Free shipping is for qualifying ONLINE orders of $50 or more after discounts). If you want us to calculate your total, you can give us your order over the phone then mail a check or money order.

Colorado Retail Delivery Fee
Effective July 1, 2022, Colorado imposes a retail delivery fee of $0.27 on all deliveries by motor vehicle to a location in Colorado with at least one item of tangible personal property subject to state sales or use tax.
LeaninTree.com is liable to collect and remit the fee on a retail sale when the order is delivered to Colorado. Deliveries include when any taxable goods are mailed, shipped, or otherwise delivered by motor vehicle to a purchaser in Colorado. The retail delivery fee is collected state-wide, and is not separated by jurisdiction, and is calculated per order.
If every item in a retail sale is exempt from sales tax, the delivery is also exempt from the retail delivery fee. However, if one or more items in the transaction is subject to sales tax, the retail delivery fee is due. The fee applies to the entire order regardless of the number of items in an order and how many shipments are needed to deliver the items ordered.
The Colorado Retail Delivery Fee will not apply on qualifying orders for customers enrolled into ATEP in the state of Colorado and also on orders where the product taxability is zero.

If you made a mistake, in most cases, we will still replace your items or refund your money, although we may require that you return the items at your expense. Refunds will not include shipping and handling or may deduct the value provided by free shipping.
Unless we made a mistake, items with customizations are not refundable (including imprints and personalized cards).
